Our Story
Everlasting Electrolysis opened its doors officially in Santa Fe in March of 2006. Originally from Austria, Barbara moved to Santa Fe in 1987. In 1996, at age 30, Barbara was introduced to electrolysis, after tweezing her chin and upper lip for over ten years. By then, her chin was irritated by numerous in-grown hairs that sometimes seemed like blackheads. The immediate relief after even a few electrolysis treatments was profound. Her interest in learning the art and science of electrolysis was sparked.
The seed for a new career was planted, but her passion for nurturing people got her involved in managing and then selling more than one small cafe venture, including the Aztec Cafe and Longevity Cafe. During that time, Barbara also raised two daughters. In 2003, she completed a yearlong clairvoyant self-healing training, and became an intuitive reader and spiritual healer. She taught and co-directed the Center for Inner Truth for many years, and continues in private practice.
It took another ten years before Barbara received her initial electrolysis training at the Cameo College of Essential Beauty in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later, Barbara also trained at the American Institute of Electrolysis in Southern California. Barbara is a licensed electrologist in the state of New Mexico, and a member of the American Electrolysis Association. She looks forward to many more years offering her unique touch and services to the Santa Fe community and surrounding areas. (License #EL035157)
